Savigny-Lès-Beaune Serrignyssime

We created the Serrignyssime cuvée starting with the 2011 vintage, selecting the best plots on the estate in the Savigny-Les-Beaune appellation, both for the type of soil and the age of the vines.

The wine is made from a selection of plots carefully chosen by us in the commune of Savigny-Les-Beaune :

  • Aux Fournaux for 24a80
  • Les Grands Picotins for 15a60
  • Les Peuillets : 16a18

Exposure/location : The vines are located at the entrance to the village of Savigny-Les-Beaune with stony, clay soils.

Wine description :

  • A cherry color with a bouquet dominated by black and red fruits.
  • The palate is round, slightly tannic and well-balanced.

Aging potential : 5 to 10 years

Meursault

The wine comes from a 30-acre plot located in the commune of Meursault in the Les Malpoiriers area.

Description of the wine :

  • With beautiful ruby notes, the nose is typical of Pinot Noir, rich in red fruit aromas.
  • It is round on the palate with blackcurrant flavors and supple tannins.

Monthélie 1er Cru Sur La Velle

Wine description :

  • A beautiful ruby color.
  • Its aromas express small red and black fruits (cherry, blackcurrant), sometimes floral notes (violet, peony), with age tending towards undergrowth, fern and spices.
  • Firm and velvety, its flesh rests on fine tannins.

Audrey Duresses 1er cru “Bas Des Duresses”

Exposure/location : Northwest facing with clay and limestone soil.

The wine comes from a 27.6-acre plot located in the commune of Auxey-Duresses in the Bas Des Duresses area.

Wine description :

  • Its bright ruby color strikes the perfect balance, neither too light nor too dark.
  • This balance continues in the bouquet, which is generally rich in small black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry, blueberry) and floral aromas (peony).
  • On the palate, it is refined and supple from the outset, measured, full-bodied and very pleasant.

Volnay 1er Cru Les Mitans

The wine comes from a plot located in the commune of Volnay in the Les Mitans area, covering 31a42.

Wine description :

  • Its velvety femininity goes hand in hand with great aromatic intensity.
  • Bright ruby red with a clear garnet hue, its aromas sing of violets, redcurrants, cherries and, with age, spices.
  • Its concentration and complexity are expressed in a delicate and nuanced way. In addition to its frankness of taste, it has a precocity that allows the Volnay appellation to open up quite early.
  • Fresh on the attack and warm on the finish, it’s like biting into fruit and breathing in its flesh.
