Wine description :

  • Pale gold in color when young, with green highlights, Corton-Charlemagne takes on amber and more yellow hues with age.
  • Infinitely delicate, its bouquet expresses buttery tones, baked apple, citrus fruits, pineapple, lime blossom, fern, juniper, cinnamon, and flint. Honeyed notes are common.
  • Leather and truffle accompany older vintages (up to 25 to 30 years old). The glass and palate are filled with a powerful burst of intense richness.
